Regular checkups

According to the World Stroke Organization, almost all strokes are preventable as many of the reasons people have strokes can be treated. If you and your doctor know that you have any of the risk factors, you can manage these risk factors so that it gives your body the opportunity to heal itself. That is why it is important to go for regular check-ups and to take an active part in your own health.
